Naveya & Sloane are looking for a new Workshop Manager to run their highly technical onsite workshop.  This is a pivotal role in our company, working with our team of master jewellers and diamond setters, helping to create precious pieces that stand the test of time in both quality and design.

Reporting to the Head of Production & Manufacturing, the Workshop Manager will be responsible for:

The efficient operations of the technical (Jeweller, Setter & CAD) manufacturing teams.

Establishing a highly talented and capable team with development plans, setting targets/KPI’s and measuring outcomes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Ensuring production timelines and milestones are achieved.

Undertaking Quality Assurance of all workshop outputs.

Making sure that the workshop environment is fit for purpose, clean and the upkeep is to a high standard.

Ensuring that the team has sufficient resources, planning and prioritisation to complete production targets on time and within budget.
Making certain that security is of a high standard within the workshop and all precious materials are accounted for at all times.

Provide clear and supportive leadership in fostering an open, positive workplace culture.

5+ years of management experience, including managing teams and diverse stakeholders

10+ years technical experience either as a jeweller or setter or experience running a production workshop

Proven project management skills

Passion for manufacturing, problem-solving and people engagement  

Proven experience to consistently meet or exceed KPI growth targets

Good understanding and commitment to Health and Safety

Previous experience using Data Studio would be an advantage

Commercially and financially astute

Passionate about service and quality

Is able to accurately understand and value people, appreciate individual differences and respond appropriately
